Google Pixel 5 Price In Nigeria And Specification

The Google Pixel 5 is official, and at the company’s Launch Night In Livestream event, we learned more about the newest flagship phone from the Android manufacturer.

In addition to Google Pixel 4a 5 G, Google Nest Audio and Chromecast with Google TV, Google announced the latest Pixel 5. In fact, what it didn’t land next to is the Pixel 5 XL, as there is no such phone-even though there really should be.

The Pixel 5 is a fascinating development that, as our Google Pixel 5 vs Google Pixel 4 comparison reveals, is in some respects an improvement to the Pixel 4, but in other respects a definite downgrade.

We will concentrate only on the new phone below and take you through all the key information we know so far about the Google Pixel 5, including how much it will cost, what it looks like, and what specs you can expect for your money.

Google Pixel 5 design and display

What you see above is the Google Pixel 5 style. The phone comes with weird names in two colors: Sorta Sage (a green color) and Just Black (which is just black). The phone’s shell is made of recycled aluminum, which is noteworthy because the back of most phones is glass or plastic.

The main reason why metal is seldom used is that wireless charging through metal can not be used, but the Pixel 5 still has that function because there is a small hole on top of the wireless charging coil, which is filled by a resin and painted over to match the aluminum, as revealed by Daniel Bader of Android Central.

The phone is water-resistant to IPX8, which should mean you can submerge this system for up to half an hour in water. The phone weighs 151 grams and is 144.7 x 70.4 x 8 mm in size.

With a resolution of 1080 x 2340, the Pixel 5 comes with a 6-inch Full HD display, which is 432 pixels per inch. This is a light that’s always on, and it’s an OLED screen.

Google has used 90Hz technology here, so the refresh rate for the screen would be quicker than many other smoother scrolling and transition devices. That said, this is not as good as some top-end handsets that have a refresh rate of 120Hz, although a 144Hz refresh rate is available for the newly announced Xiaomi Mi 10 T Pro.

Google Pixel 5 camera

The camera is where a few of the Google Pixel 5 adjustments are made. It features a 1.4μm pixel width 12.2MP dual-pixel shooter, and there is a 16MP ultra-wide shooter as well.

That replaces the telephoto shooter on last year’s phone, which some may miss, but in daily use, you’re likely to enjoy the large camera more.

On the Pixel 5, the company’s impressive Night Sight and Portrait Modes return. In our reviews of those older phones, we have found similar cameras on previous phones to work beautifully, so we’re hoping for a similar result here.

It’s worth mentioning that the latest Google Pixel 4a 5 G seems to have almost the same camera setup, though, so you might always go for that if you don’t want to spend as much as this phone costs.

You’ll find an 8MP selfie camera in front of the screen. That appears to be identical to Google’s previous phones, which we found to perform well in our testing.
